Hikers will experience a variety of terrain ranging from rocky sections, to grassy roads, to stream crossings on this 4 mile route that visits two lakes. Egypt Meadow Lake which is man-made and features a dam built by the Civil Conservation Corps in the 1930s, and Bruce Lake, which is glacial and dates back to the end of the last ice age. While there is very little incline, there are some rocky sections, so good footwear is a must.
