A Meditation Retreat

Focus on your MindBody Connection

Whether indoors or out in the beauty of nature, meditation can change our moods, our minds and the way we interact with the world. We offer guided meditation classes such as Healing Sounds Meditation and more. Meditation on the mile-long Nature Path is a calming and spiritual experience. The path loops around The Lodge, through the trees, like a simple labyrinth leading you back to your beginning. Our Lotus Labyrinth offers programming and a serene location for meditation and relaxation hugged by the arms of the forest.

At The Lodge, you can take part in group MindBody classes including: Hatha Yoga, Inner Smile Meditation, Walking Meditation, AM Stretch, Fitness Yoga, Breathe and Change Your Life!, Gentle Yoga, Guided Nature Walk, Healing Sounds Meditation, Holistic Constitutional Assessment, Qi Gong, T’ai Chi and more. MindBody classes on our Lotus Labyrinth include: The Journaling Journey, Mindfulness in Motion, Walking Meditation, and Opening Labyrinth Walk.

Water Therapies

From dramatic Hydromassage WaterWalls surrounded by native boulders to warm soaking pools, The Lodge offers many ways “to take the waters.” A dramatic indoor pool is the playground for challenging aerobic exercises and games. Enticing you outdoors is our breathtaking horizon Destination whirlpool overlooking the forest and lake beyond. If you want to skinny-dip in an indoor, non-coed whirlpool, the separate Women’s and Men’s Retreats each feature their own whirlpool and each has a lounge where you can enjoy an open fire. Don’t leave the lounge without detoxing in the sauna and steam room-with their windows-on-the-woods. Cool down year round on the private outdoor porches with spectacular lake and garden vistas.
