The Farm-To-Table Garden provides a selection of the vegetables and herbs that are used at TREE Restaurant. Garden programs throughout the year, with a focused Garden Week in August, give guests an opportunity to have a hands-on gardening experience with our Master Gardener and her team.
Our Master Gardner, Alison Peck, is working on creating an all Organic Farm. In addition to not using pesticides, our organic practices include companion planting, promoting beneficial insects, cover cropping, seed saving, rotation planting, composting, and the use of organic materials to build the soil. Alison, with the help of her team, shares these organic practices during the yearlong garden programs.
The Lodge at Woodloch is committed to local, fresh foods. Our humble garden at our Blackmore Farm-to-Table Garden isn't quite robust enough to supply all of our produce needs. Our chef team has searched high and low to find like-minded local farms to help supplement our seasonal menus. We are proud to support local farms and to have a true connection to where our food is coming from and how it is grown/raised.
