Entomology
Join our Fly-fishing guides for the exciting underwater world of aquatic insects and the primary forage that makes up a trout's diet. You will see a presentation and the physical
specimens as well. This will help you chose your seasonal fly selection or what flies you should tie.

Fly Casting
Join our staff fly fishing guide for an introduction in fly-casting. This class will be outside on one of our lawn areas, an overview of the rod, reel and basics of proper
technique will be covered.

Fly Fishing 101
Join our staff fly fishing guide for an introduction to fly fishing. The basics of fly fishing will be discussed, including casting and knot tying.

Fly Fishing for Bass & Panfish
Experience the fun and excitement of casting for and/or catching bass and panfish on our very own private 15 acre lake. Join our fly fishing guide as they prepare you with the tips and techiniques to hopefully catch these fun fish.

Fly Tying
Learn how to tie the basic fly fishing patterns. An introduction to the tools used in fly tying will also take place during this class.

Ice Fishing
Visit our Outdoor Adventure Center, The Lily Pad, to learn the basics of ice fishing.  Our staff is on hand throughout the day to help you discover the art of fishing in Winter weather. Conditions permitting.

Intro to Fly Fishing
Join our staff fly fishing guide for an introduction to the world of fly fishing, and all of its gadgets and accessories.

Intro to Fly Tying
Learn how to tie the basic fly fishing patterns. An introduction to the tools used in fly tying will also take place during this class.

Open Fishing
Come down to our own Little Lake Teedyuskung to learn the basics of fishing. Our outdoor team will provide you with all the gear and assistance needed to enjoy this leisurely activity. The Lodge at Woodloch's Little Lake Teedyuskung is a catch and release only lake.  

Tenkara
Join our fly-fishing guides for an introduction to this simplified, Japanese style of fly fishing. They will discuss a little bit of the history, then go into equipment and set up. You will learn the differences between tenkara and conventional fly tackle, flies and also have the opportunity to cast the rods.
