Hikers will experience a variety of terrain ranging from rocky sections, to grassy roads, to stream crossings on this 4 mile route that visits two lakes. Egypt Meadow Lake which is man-made and features a dam built by the Civil Conservation Corps in the 1930s, and Bruce Lake, which is glacial and dates back to the end of the last ice age. While there is very little incline, there are some rocky sections, so good footwear is a must.

Explore the 250 acres of Shuman Point Natural Area on a moderate 3 mile loop hike along the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack. One of the last undeveloped areas around the lake, Shuman Point's trails meander through mixed forests and visits the lakeshore at several points offering hikers a chance to observe waterfowl and beautiful lake views. The route follows mostly rolling terrain with only a few incline sections; however, it crosses some wet and rocky areas as well.
Bluestone mining quarries and logging camps once dotted this area throughout the 19th century. This 3 mile loop hike offers challenging uphill terrain and traverses rocky out-croppings to a vista overlooking the Upper Delaware River. The trails then gently meander through a diverse forest landscape. Bald Eagle sightings near the river are not uncommon year round. After an initial steep incline to the vista, most of the route follows a gradual descent back to the beginning.
