Paula Chaffee Scardamalia ~ Dreams CoachPaula_Chaffee_Scardamalia

Paula weaves together her creative and intuitive experiences as a dream traveler, tarotist, author, and professional weaver, to show others how to decipher their dreams and then tell their stories.  She is a book coach and creative mentor, and leads workshops, seminars, and group and individual retreats, at her home, online, and across the country.  Recently, she’s been speaking at destination spas on different aspects of dreams, tarot, and creativity.  She also publishes a weekly newsletter with tips and tools for the creative life.

Paula’s been an active dreamer most of her life, and began studying dreams in the early 80’s.  In the early 90’s, she became part of author and dream teacher Robert Moss’s dream circle.  In 1999, Paula taught her first workshop on shamanic dreaming and writing at the International Women’s Writing Guild, and has taught at the conference ever since.  In the last three years she has woven together both the dream work and the tarot as powerful intuitive tools for writers.  In 2004, she released her CD, The Tower in the Woods: Dreaming Your Creativity Awake, a recording of four different conscious dream journeys with drumming.

Paula is the award-winning author of Weaving a Woman's Life: Spiritual Lessons from the Loom, a book she wrote after almost 15 years as a professional weaver, selling her luxurious and colorful handwoven rayon chenille scarves, shawls, jackets and throws to both wholesale and retail customers across the country and the globe.

As a professional freelance writer, Paula has written feature articles for publications as diverse as Faery Magazine, Beliefnet.com, First30Days.com and Crafts Business Magazine.  She also writes book reviews for Broadsheet, a publication for women who love to read and write about fantasy, and for Foreword Magazine.
