Thanksgiving at The Lodge at Woodloch
During this Thanksgiving, one way to embody the spirit of the season is to declare the day an anti-stress day. Give thanks to yourself. The Lodge at Woodloch is offering an anti-stress holiday dinner. Giving the ability to leave the stress of cooking, the stress of family, the stress of work and the stress of every day demands behind in order to contemplate what is really worth being thankful for.
An artfully crafted Thanksgiving Dinner by Chef Peter Schott will be offered in Tree restaurant and bar. A four-course meal that, for a change, won’t result in pushing the limits on the scale. All meals feature organic or locally grown vegetables, naturally raised meats and are designed to satisfy by focusing on incredible taste while portions sizes are health-minded.
Kick off the weekend with a pep talk from Fitness Guru Cindy Wasilewski about how to Maintain, Not Gain this holiday season. The workshop will feature healthy tips, fitness strategies and resources to keep focused and healthy.
On Friday, combat the post turkey-day blues with a vigorous guided hike, enjoying nature and fresh air instead of the frequent trips to-and-from the refrigerator for left-overs. Scheduled hikes to Shuman Point in the morning and Wallenpaupack in the afternoon will keep the blood flowing.
