Facials are available to guests on an appointment-only basis beginning Monday, October 26th, 2020. Estheticians have been tested prior to returning to the workforce per governmental guidelines and random/ongoing testing will continue to help ensure continued health. The Lodge at Woodloch will be monitoring conditions in our region and reserves the right to temporarily pause facial services if positivity rates indicate an increased risk to guests and staff. All Estheticians will be required to wear masks and face shields & guests will be required to wear masks when appropriate. Guests’ temperatures will be taken prior to facial appointments.  Extensive cleaning and disinfecting measures have been outlined for the facial treatment rooms including UV/Ionized Air Purifiers, Ozone Sanitation, as well as the already stringent cleaning procedures.

The Aqua Garden (indoor swimming pool, Hydromassage WaterWalls and outdoor horizon whirlpool) is open. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) states: “There is no evidence that COVID‐19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID‐19.” The Lodge at Woodloch pool and whirlpool amenities are treated and tested regularly to meet state and industry standards.

The Men’s and Women’s retreats are open with social distancing measures in place and lockers are available and assigned upon arrival.  It is recommended that guests prepare for their activities in their guest rooms when possible to ensure social distancing.

Masks are required when moving about the retreat areas. They are not required when using water facilities or while sunbathing on the Horizon patio. We do ask that if you vacate your sun lounger, you resume wearing your mask.

The spa refreshment areas that are typically self-serve are temporarily paused.  During this time, staff are available on the lower spa level at the bottom of Promise staircase to provide water, tea, and a light snack upon request.

Additionally, our already rigorous cleaning regimen has been increased on an enhanced schedule utilizing the recommended agents by the EPA that effectively disinfect, clean and sanitize all public areas, especially high touch zones. Social distancing measures will be monitored throughout the spa amenity spaces.
