December 2020:
Celebration

That’s a wrap, 2020! Did you accomplish the goals you set out to achieve? Did you create new, healthy habits you now can’t imagine your life without? As we reflect back on the ebbs and flows of this past year, we can’t help but think it’s time to celebrate. Celebrate who we’ve become, the strides we’ve taken, and the obstacles we’ve hurdled. This December, fun and frivolity will be our focus as we rejoice in the holiday season with seasonal cooking classes and festive wine tastings, all to celebrate a magnificent  year. Cheers!

Explore our full schedule of exciting and educational events at The Lodge at Woodloch, featuring inspirational and motivational guest speakers, available to elevate your consciousness and personal awareness.

Full Cold Moon

December 29th
Because we take our cues from nature, we have developed a Full Moon Series for 2020. Each month, we will pay homage to the beauty & wonderment that each unique full moon brings.

During this month the winter cold fastens its grip, and nights are at their longest and darkest. The Moon is above the horizon for a long time and has a high trajectory across the sky because it is opposite a low Sun.

Full Moon Yoga: This yoga practice will calm the mind and draw your awareness inward. Moon Salutations are useful when energy is high and a tranquil, quiet presence is required. All Levels Welcome.

Full Moon Walk: Whether by boot or snowshoe, follow our Outdoor Adventure guide on a moonlit tour through our tranquil wooded 500 acres. Breathe in the crisp evening air and enjoy the natural sounds as we  tune out the chaos of life and tune in to the tranquil symphony of nature. Your Full Cold Moon journey will conclude with a cozy campfire and s’mores.  A perfect ending to a relaxing day!

Pen and Ink Drawing: Celebrate the ending of the year with an amazing moon painting.  You will use a quill and inks to create your Cold Moon inspired masterpiece!
