Full Buck Moon
July 5th
Because we take our cues from nature, we have developed a Full Moon Series for 2020. Each month, we will pay homage to the beauty & wonderment that each unique full moon brings.

July is normally when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. Another name for this month’s Moon was the Full Hay Moon.

Full Moon Yoga: This yoga practice will calm the mind and draw your awareness inward. Moon Salutations are useful when energy is high and a tranquil, quiet presence is required. All Levels Welcome.

Outdoor Watercolor Painting: Embrace the outdoor beauty of midsummer and the Full Buck Moon by painting by the water's edge!  This class is weather permitting and will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

Full Moon Kayaking: Paddle under the silvery light of the Full Buck Moon.  Discover Little Lake Teedyuskung while listening to the paddles gently glide through the water and looking to the sky. This kayak expedition is a true celestial experience!

Anne Becerra, Certified Cicerone

July 10th - 12th
Anne Becerra is still shocked that she's been able to turn her love for craft beer into a career.  She was the first female Certified Cicerone in NYC and has been at the helm of some of the best craft beer bars in Manhattan for the last seven years, most recently at The Blind Tiger and as Beer Director for Taproom 307.  Anne is a beer writer for Serious Eats and Martha Stewart Living, and has been featured multiple times on NBC, Fox and Friends and CNN as well as contributed to TIME Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Wall Street Journal, Sirius XM, and more.  She was the only speaker at both Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans and the Women’s Chef and Restaurateur Conference in NYC to represent the beer industry, and believes the best part about craft beer is sharing it.  You can catch her teaching classes, hosting weekly tasting events, and curating beer pairings throughout the tri-state area. In addition to being on the New York tasting panel with Riedel and Spiegelau to help create the first ever IPA beer glass, she was named one of the "Heroes of the Craft Beer Movement" by Vanberg and DeWulf Imports, has helped organize major beer festivals and has been a beer judge several years in a row for multiple competitions.  Known to many as "Anne Likes Beer," she has traveled around the world visiting countless breweries and continually uses her platforms to promote and support local businesses, healthy living, and sustainable practices.
