About The Lodge at Woodloch
An adults-only, all-inclusive destination spa resort set on 500+ acres in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, The Lodge at Woodloch offers a transformative wellness experience grounded in nature, nourishment, and personal discovery. With 59 rooms, a 40,000 sq. ft. spa, destination dining, and daily programming led by a team of resident wellness experts, The Lodge has been recognized by leading travel and lifestyle publications as one of the top destination spas in the country.
The Lodge at Woodloch is proud to be a returning sponsor of the Organic Spa Media NYC Experience Wellness & Travel Media Event, one of the wellness industry's premier annual gatherings of editors, journalists, influencers, and thought leaders.
The Lodge's Associate Director of Communications, Erica Bloch, is also a featured panelist at this year's event, joining the "Wellness Your Way: Customized Travel Experiences" symposium alongside industry leaders to discuss the future of personalized wellness travel.
This year, The Lodge is bringing its "Nature Nurtures" wellness philosophy to life with two experiential activations led by members of our resident expert team, each rooted in the belief that nature provides what we need to restore, nourish, and thrive.
Longevity in a Sip: A Blue Zones Olive Oil Tasting Led by Talia Segal Fidler, Holistic Nutritionist & Olive Oil Sommelier
An immersive tasting experience featuring Kastania extra virgin olive oil, exploring the connection between food, longevity, and the wellness principles of the world's Blue Zones communities. Kastania is produced by a multigenerational family from hand-harvested olives grown in the mountain groves of the Mani region in southern Greece, using traditional organic farming methods passed down for centuries. It is the same olive oil featured in The Lodge's culinary programming, used by our chefs at TREE Restaurant, and available in our Great Things Boutique, reflecting our commitment to sourcing ingredients with integrity and intention.
Nature Nurtures: A Custom Herbal Tea Blending Experience Led by Heather Houskeeper, Botanical Hiker
A hands-on workshop inviting guests to explore the healing properties of herbs and create their own herbal tea blend. Using dried herbs sourced from The Lodge's on-site Blackmore Farm, Heather guides guests through a sensory journey of touching, crushing, and smelling each botanical before blending a custom tea bag to take home.
From Blackmore Farm to the Blue Zones: A Shared Philosophy
At The Lodge, wellness begins with what the land provides. Our on-site Blackmore Farm and Orchard is a working organic farm that supplies vegetables, herbs, and botanicals for our culinary, spa, and wellness programming. At TREE Restaurant, our chefs craft three artfully prepared gourmet meals daily using ingredients sourced from the farm and local purveyors, and seasonally, guests can experience intimate chef-led tasting dinners and farmer-led harvest lunches, bringing the table to the farm.
Our partnership with Kastania extends that same philosophy across the globe: an award-winning, family-farmed olive oil rooted in the values of sustainability, tradition, and care for the land. Together, these activations tell the story of a property where wellness isn't a trend but a way of life, nourished by nature from the Pocono Mountains to the Mediterranean.
