Katie Kershner is a Registered Nurse and Certified Wellness Coach who loves helping people slow down and find ways to de-stress in the midst of their busy lives using her homemade body scrubs and skin care products.

Katie offers a unique approach to self-care by using her simple, clean, homemade body scrubs and skin care products as a vehicle to talk about self-care and overall well-being. Working from the inside out, she offers self-care tools and tips while also focusing on gratitude and breathing. She encourages people to thank the body for all the positive things it is doing for them, as opposed to focusing on the negative and tearing the body apart. By mindfully focusing on the positive, not only does your skin feel amazing after using the body scrub, you feel good on the inside as well.

Katie lives in Downingtown, PA with her high school sweetheart Dan, 14 year-old son Danny, 11 year-old daughter Kailey, and her energetic dog Cocoa.  When Katie is not coaching, creating new body scrubs and skin care products, or watching her kids play baseball and soccer, Katie enjoys taking time for herself by being outside in nature, going for walks on trails with friends and family, practicing gratitude, and sipping on a warm cup of coffee in the morning on her front porch.

Scrub with Purpose- Gratitude & Breathing

Take home the relaxed, renewed, and de-stressed spa feeling of Woodloch with a hands-on experience by creating your own simple body scrub.  Relax as Katie teaches you how to make your own body scrub with sugar/salt, grape seed oil, and therapeutic essential oils.  While making your own body scrub you will also learn simple self-care tools to help you with stress management, personal self-care, and continued well-being well after your stay.  After creating your body scrub and picking the essential oil scent that is just right for you, Katie will guide you through a calming gratitude breathing exercise to help you feel more grounded.

Saturday, April 29th
Scrub with Purpose- Stressors & Relaxers

Learn how to take home the relaxed, renewed, and de-stressed spa feeling of Woodloch with a hands-on experience by creating your own simple body scrub.  Relax as Katie teaches you how to make your own body scrub with sugar/salt, grape seed oil, and therapeutic essential oils.  While making your own body scrub you will also learn simple self-care tools to help you with stress management, personal self-care, and continued well-being well after your Woodloch stay.  After creating your body scrub and picking the essential oil scent that is right for you, Katie will help you figure out which activities in life are stressing you out and which activities nurture you and help you to feel more relaxed by creating your own personal "Nurture Menu".
