Scott Doniger, Chronic Stress Counselor and Author
July 31st - August 1st
Scott Doniger is a Chronic Stress Counselor, LifeStage Coach, and author specializing in Parts Work (e.g., Internal Family Systems, IFS) among many other mental health modalities. After a three-decade career in marketing and business strategy, Doniger pivoted to mental health support in 2022, following his own transformative healing journey through Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and his lifelong journey to better understand his own inner world. His lived experience and training combine Parts Work, Components-Based Psychotherapy, EMDR, and a variety of mindfulness and somatic modalities to help clients navigate chronic stress, anxiety, and unresolved physical illness.
His groundbreaking book, ‘HIJACKED: Getting to Know Our Parts and Why They Take Us Over’ (2025), is the first-of-its-kind to systematically catalog thirty of the most common "parts" that frequently take over our emotions and behaviors, while providing practical frameworks for readers to recognize their own hijacked states, enabling people to respond with greater awareness and intention.
Doniger can speak authoritatively on how Parts Work therapy helps individuals and couples (Doniger is also certified in Intimacy From The Inside Out, a protocol that is essentially Parts Work for couples) identify and understand the various "parts" within their psyche, and provide real-world examples of why and how these parts can hijack individuals into dysfunctional emotional and physical states.

Managing Chronic Fatigue, Stress, and Anxiety with Parts Work
8:30pm
This interactive workshop introduces Parts Work, a compassionate approach that helps participants understand stress, anxiety, and emotional patterns with greater calm and clarity. Through guided reflection and dialogue, participants learn to recognize inner “Parts” such as the Inner Critic or People Pleaser and access Self‑energy for balance and resilience. A special focus is given to chronic conditions like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, exploring fatigue through a mind–body lens that honors the body’s wisdom rather than pathologizing it. Participants leave with practical tools to reduce stress, increase self‑awareness, and cultivate a kinder relationship with their body and inner world.

Midlife Unlocked
8:30pm
The phase of life called the transition to midlife, and the second half of life often brings both uncertainty and awakening — a time when old roles, ambitions and measures of success begin to shift. Unlocking Midlife offers a compassionate framework for navigating this “messy middle,” helping participants explore the inner Parts that shaped their first half of life and discover how Self-leadership can guide the second.
Through guided reflection, mapping exercises (such as the 6 P's of the midlife -- Personal; Professional; Physical; Psychological; Passing/Parting; Purpose) and group discussion, Scott helps participants uncover the Parts that once drove achievement, protection, or control and learn to meet them with curiosity instead of pressure.
Guests leave with tools to reduce anxiety, renew purpose and approach the second half of life with greater clarity, calm and courage.
