Dr. Shelby Harris, Psychologist and Behavioral Sleep Specialist 
March 20th - 21st
Dr. Shelby Harris is a clinical psychologist and sleep specialist based in New York, and a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is board-certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and treats a wide range of sleep, anxiety, and depression issues using evidence-based, non-medication approaches. 

Dr. Harris is the author of two self-help books: The Women’s Guide to Overcoming Insomnia and The Essential Guide to Children’s Sleep. Prior to entering private practice, she served as the longtime director of the Insomnia Clinic at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. 

Her expertise in behavioral sleep medicine is frequently sought out by the media, including outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, CBS Mornings, and The Today Show.

Join Dr. Shelby Harris as she explores the basics of sleep, including debunking common sleep myths. This presentation will cover normal and abnormal sleep changes that occur with aging, when to seek further evaluation from a sleep specialist, and what to do when behavioral interventions alone are not effective.

Sleepless No More: Tackling Women’s Sleep Struggles

Led by sleep expert Dr. Shelby Harris, this presentation will focus on sleep issues unique to women across the lifespan. It will address common sleep disorders that disproportionately affect women and highlight evidence-based treatment options to improve sleep quality and overall well-being.
